Ionic Column Table No:2

Ionic columns are one of three styles of columns used in Greece; Vitruvius wrote of this design as "an apt combination of the severity of the Doric with the delicacy of the Corinthian."  Two early examples of Ionic columns still stand in present-day Turkey: the Temple of Hera in Samos and the Temple of Artemis in Ephesus, where the works are displayed, given a different colour by the interpretation of the lagu.
