Ionic Column Table

Ionic columns are one of three types of column styles used in Greece; Vitruvius wrote of this design as "a fitting combination of Doric hardness and Corinthian sophistication". Two early examples of Ionic columns still exist in modern-day Turkey: the artifacts exhibited at the Temple of Hera in Samos and the Temple of Artemis in Ephesus acquire a different color with the interpretation of the lagu.
